The period of the olive harvest is always a wonderful time for us Tuscans, in which we finally see the fruit of the care and passion that we have poured into our fields of olive trees for all the months leading up to the harvest.
We of Giglio Villas are not to be outdone and carrying on our long-standing family tradition also this year we made our precious extra virgin olive oil from the fields of Villa De ‘Cerchi.
This year, however, we wanted to do something more than in previous years.
Three different extra virgin olive oils
This year we have made not one, but three different extra virgin olive oils, from as many different varieties of olives, all of our own production.
Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo are the varieties that we have decided to make the most of by creating our three different extra virgin olive oils stone pressed in the Grandis oil mill.
In this way, we have made the most of the aromatic expression coming from each variety and we have created three different oils, which although they come from the same territory manifest different aromatic characteristics that on the palate go to trigger aromas and sensations completely different from each other.
A little gift for all of our guests
Although ours is a small production, we will be happy to pay homage to all of our guests at Villa De’ Cerchi and Villa Caiano with a, we hope welcome, taste of our extra virgin olive oils of our own production, so that you can fully enjoy the typical taste of a 100% Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, strictly stone pressed.
